Sarah Shube, LMHC
Executive Director
Sarah Shube, LMHC, ATR, is a licensed mental health counselor and a board‑certified art therapist. With years of experience, Sarah has honed her expertise in treating a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and substance use disorders. She also provides support for individuals navigating significant life changes, employment challenges, loss, and relationship issues.
Sarah’s therapeutic approach is grounded in collaboration, believing that counseling is a partnership between therapist and client. With training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), she creates a safe, confidential space where clients are empowered to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. She works with individuals and families, supporting them through difficult transitions and helping to foster healing and resilience.
As a therapist who recognizes the importance of a holistic approach, Sarah often collaborates with other professionals—such as physicians, schools, and community organizations—with the client’s consent to ensure comprehensive care. In therapy, clients are encouraged to uncover their strengths, set healthy boundaries, and cultivate trust in themselves as they move forward in their healing journey.
Sarah is deeply committed to her clients’ well‑being and believes that everyone is worthy of this transformative journey toward growth and healing. Through creative approaches and personalized care, she is dedicated to helping clients reclaim their sense of peace and empowerment.
Sarah Shube is also committed to empowering therapists and fostering a supportive, creative environment at Creative Art Therapies and Wellness, LLC.
